Alpha Psy Dinner and Award '13 It was a memorable time for the finalist of Psychology from the most famous University of Lagos at the Sheraton Hotel. This was to celebrate the success of their four years in school. The "Psychologers" under the able chairmanship of Adieme James took to a grand style yesterday even as award was given to the best graduating male and female of the class, the most popular male and female and the most handsome and miss hourglass of the class just to mention a few. The award ceremony was crowned with our most distinguished guest, Dr (Mrs) Ojo who was in attendant with her husband, for her supervision and care all through the four years. Music and Dance by a couple of upcoming artists to grace the occasion followed and am sure it would be a night to remember for a long time to come for the "Psychologers".

TITLE : Artful Truth By Sarah Elisabeth 04/10/13 I stared at the blood red paint splattered on the concrete wall cracked by the weeds growing through it. I hefted the gallon of white and paused. This occasion didn’t deserve white. I set it down and lifted the brown and gray I’d mixed in another bucket. I slung the mix at the wall. Splash! It splattered and dripped in the circle of light that shone from the only streetlamp that could reach under this bridge. As soon as I saw this spot two nights ago, I knew it was the right place. Droplets to the Four Winds By Tracy Nunes 04/10/13  I looked up from my book at the sound of her uncontrolled delight; a moment caught in time. Droplets of water spread out toward the four winds, held forever in suspended animation. Her face overflowed with the joy of a puddle, mud and all. The world around was inconsequential, its cacophony silent. That moment, the sound and feel of her tiny pink boots slapping the water were all that mattered. No more than two feet wide, yet for her, like walking on the vastest sea; the thrill of it caused a squeak of glee and then silly gut-laughing that took her breath away. Over and over she danced till she finally tired of the game. Breathless, spent and deeply satisfied, she wondered back to her Mom’s side, looking ready for a snack and a nap.
