SANCTIFIED SPIRIT by PASTOR CHARLES O. FAMODIMU

Image
“But we are bound to give thanks always to God for you, brethren beloved of the Lord, because God hath from the beginning chosen you to salvation through sanctification of the spirit and belief of the truth” 2 These 2vs13. For everything we do in life there is an underlying factor that determines the outcome of the whole matter. Mohammed Ali had a way of building defeat in his opponent by speaking defeat into their ears. So also the underlying factors in our lives are speaking the outcome of the event is determined by this factor. It is about the spirit in you. Are you a carrier of a sanctified spirit or a carrier of a polluted spirit? There can be no fulfillment of destiny unless you carry a sanctified spirit, that is; your spirit has been sanctified. A person with a polluted spirit experiences setback and delay because such a person when such a person climbs to a higher level of life he/she fails or messes up and such becomes worse than his/her formal state in life. ARE MEN AND WOMEN TRULY EQUAL? Part 2 by AYO GARBA

They can both respect each other as humans, but the gateman must know his boss and accord him that honour if he wants to keep his job. Life is in phases. Men are in sizes So equality only ends where it pertains to our right to be humans, But in relationship structure, heir achy comes play, so that we can have order and 'government' without which there is going to be chaos and anarchy in our world. Someone must make the rule Someone must be held responsible for things Someone must lead others Someone must make the final decision But this hierarchy must be based on objective evaluations Like Strength and weakness Experiences and training Character and virtue Age and all etc The Bible says we must respect all established "authority". They have a position and thus a responsibility for us. So likewise male and female, they are both equal as humans, they must have the same rights as human beings created in the image and likeness of God. But when...

ARE MEN AND WOMEN TRULY EQUAL? by AYO GARBA

I believe in equality of all human beings. I will explain. My believe is that we are all created in the image and likeness of God . In respect to our person hood, we are all equal: male and female, the rich and poor, the old and young, black and white. Everyone must be given the same treatment in terms of general rights and privileges But I understand that we may all be equal has Human beings created in the image and likeness of God; we are not all equal in the order of things. Jesus said amongst all men born to women under the Old Testament, john the Baptist is the greatest. That means that not every Old Testament prophet is equal. A servant is not greater than his master. There are people, and there are 'people'. A child is not equal to her parents in that he is under her parents in hierarchy and government of things. When the same child becomes a teenager, we cannot claim that he is equal to a new born baby. We cannot treat them equally. Fairness thus...

The Eagle

Image
Once a farmer found an abandoned eagle's nest and in it was an egg still warm. He took the egg back to his farm and laid it in the nest of one of his hens. The egg hatched and the baby eagle grew up along with the other chickens. It pecked about the farmyard, scrabbling for grain. It spent its life within the yard and rarely looked up. When it was very old, one day it lifted up its head and saw above it a wonderful sight - an eagle soaring high above in the sky. Looking at it, the old creature sighed and said to itself, "If only I'd been born an eagle". Who's fault is it that the eagle didn't know it could still soar high?
