The Phase of Rejection (Part 2) By Pastor Charles O. Famodimu

Rejection does not kill but inability to accept rejection kills. If the rejected is able to accept the rejection no matter how it came, he will not be rejected forever. At such a time heaven begin to reveals secrets to him, unravel mysteries and give unto such deeper revelations. It was when the Apostle John was alone on the island of Patmos that he received the revelations in the book of Revelation.
When God is jealous over you, He makes you pass through the phase of rejection.
The key reasons why many fail this phase are sentiments and emotions. The phase of rejections is used of God to train our emotions but those still interested in mixing emotions with the issues of life will fail.
Another problem is lack of understanding. If you don’t understand the phase of your rejection and what is required of you, you may repeat the class severally. The first thing is to determine what weakness brought you there and you are to tackle it fervently so that when opportunity presents itself to you, you are up to the task.
In the phase of rejection our faith, trust and love for God are tested. Are you truly what you confess to God during worship service? The period of rejection is used to know those who are determined to follow God no matter the circumstances.
The period of rejection determines the level of your submission to God and it can also help you to fully surrender.
You can be rejected but know that you are not alone (Matt.28:20). Use the gift of rejection well to build the fruits of the Spirit in you. Romans 5:3-5:
And not only so, but we glory in tribulations also; knowing that tribulations worketh patience; and patience, experience; and experience, hope: and hope maketh not ashamed because the love God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given to us.
